Flower subscription:

A. How does a flower subscription work?
Basically just like any magazine subscription. You choose the item you want to subscribe to - in this case either the fresh cut flower assortments or the designed bouquets - fill out the order form and we will deliver your item every week or bi-weekly until you unsubscribe. You can also order the subscription for a set amount of weeks.

B. What is the minimum subscription period?
4 weeks. That can be 4 weeks in a row for weekly deliveries or 8 weeks for bi-weekly deliveries.

C. Do I receive the same flowers that are shown on the website?
On the website you see sample bouquets and sample flower assortments. It might happen that you will receive a similar designed bouquet or assortment but in general all deliveries will vary each time. The pictures on the website should give you an idea of what kind of compositions and flower selections to expect when you subscribe with us.

Order options:

A. How can I order your services/subscriptions?
There are 3 ways to order:

    - By phone at 310-305-8992. Simply have the item number ready.
    - By sending an email with your request to info@flowermaid.com.
    - By downloading and printing out the order form and faxing the filled out form to 309-418-3125. You can also send the form by mail along with your check to:
        FlowerMaid
        P.O. Box 9301
        Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

B. Can I also order a vase with my flowers?
Currently this is not possible yet. However we are planning to add a shop to the website soon that will carry vases and other items around flowers.
Delivery & Payment:

A. When and how will the flowers be delivered?
Flowers will be delivered by our FlowerMaid courier every Thursday (or every other Thursday for bi-weekly subscriptions) and arrive paper-wrapped (without a vase).

B. Do I have to be home for the delivery?
You don’t have to be home. In most cases, the delivery driver will knock or ring the bell, and if there is no answer, will leave the product somewhere safe at the delivery location. However, we can’t be held responsible for stolen flowers. To avoid doubts we will leave a delivery notification sticker on your door or in your mailbox.

C. In which areas do you deliver?
Los Angeles and Malibu - basically most areas with a 90xxx zip code. We don’t deliver to Orange County, San Bernadino County and Ventura County.

Also, we can’t deliver to gated apartment complexes.

D. How much is the delivery?
For all flower subscriptions the (bi-)weekly delivery charge is $5.00.
For “Forget me not” anniversary flowers, the one-time delivery charge is $10 and includes handling and packaging. There is no Sunday delivery for anniversary flowers.

In case we received an incorrect delivery address the ordering person has to take full responsibility for the undeliverable flowers and will be billed for the full amount.

E. What is your guarantee?
We are proud to send the freshest, most beautiful flowers. You can enjoy FlowerMaid flowers for at least 5 days. However we would like to ask you to consider that flowers are living organisms. The aestetic of your flowers or bouquets will change over time: Flowers with many buds, e.g. Freesia will open up new buds and will close faded buds. Tulips however will still grow in the vase and spread out their petals. Your bouquet lives and therefore will change daily - please enjoy the natural evolvement. Some flowers are reacting very sensitive to various environmental conditions that FlowerMaid has no influence in. If your flowers have to lie in the heat for a few hours we can’t guarantee perfect quality anymore. However, we absolutely guarantee that the flowers are in perfectly fresh condition at the time of delivery.

F. Will you confirm my order by email?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has arrived, payment has cleared and when your subscription will begin.

G. How do I pay for my flowers?
Subscriptions:
We need to receive payment before we can start your subscription. Please send your check to:
        FlowerMaid
        P.O. Box 9301
        Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

Please allow one business week after mailing your check to process your order.

Anniversary flowers:
For one-time deliveries we will bill you first, wait for your payment and then deliver your flowers. Please allow one week to process your order. Please put the processing time into consideration when ordering anniversary flowers for your recipient. We suggest that you give us all dates and deadlines once and we will take care of a timely billing and delivery.
